Amplification, crossover and protection live inside the loudspeaker.
8361A represents a different cinema architecture from the passive systems elsewhere on this site. Amplifiers, active crossover, protection and DSP are integrated into the monitor, while GLM manages level, delay and room-response compensation across the network.
For a private cinema, that can simplify amplifier-rack design while increasing the importance of power, signal and network planning at each speaker location.
