WHY IT EXISTS
A centre channel designed as an equal member of the front stage.

The centre channel carries dialogue but also a large share of the front-stage energy in film sound. S7i-C treats it as a reference loudspeaker rather than a smaller compromise box.

Its horizontal form can be particularly useful below or behind a screen where the architecture cannot accommodate a vertically oriented centre.

SYSTEM ROLE

Where it fits in a cinema.

01

Centre channel

Dedicated horizontal implementation of the flagship S7i architecture.

02

Acoustically transparent screen

Can sit behind the image while remaining visually invisible.

03

Media-room integration

Also useful where a display or cabinetry dictates a horizontal centre format.

ROOM DESIGN
Choose the room conditions before choosing the quantity.
Screen heightDo not force the centre too low simply because the cabinet is horizontal.
Front-stage matchAim to keep L/C/R acoustic centres as coherent as the architecture permits.
Amplifier currentPlan for the 4-ohm nominal load and cinema peak demands.
