WHY IT EXISTS
Ceiling speakers work better when their acoustic axis can actually point at the audience.
Wisdom’s iCS7a uses an angled six-bar planar magnetic driver so the high-frequency / midrange energy can be focused toward the seats. That makes it materially different from a conventional round ceiling speaker firing straight down.
An optional Extended Coverage Waveguide can broaden placement flexibility, while the manufacturer also offers a laser alignment tool for precise orientation.

In-ceiling surrounds
Useful when wall positions are unavailable and the geometry still allows coherent surround coverage.
In-ceiling LCR
Possible in appropriate rooms, but the speaker should be treated as an aimed sound source rather than decorative ceiling hardware.
