WHY IT EXISTS
Line 3 is a purpose-built private-cinema speaker rather than an architectural hi-fi speaker adapted to cinema.
Wisdom’s Sage Cinema Line 3 is explicitly intended for high-performance media rooms and private cinemas. Three 24-inch PMD sections create a 72-inch line source, with nine woofers and an outboard active crossover / DSP requirement.
That modular architecture is useful behind a projection screen or fabric wall because the speaker can be treated as part of the room construction rather than a visible object.
