WHY IT EXISTS
LS3 is where the line-source conversation becomes genuinely large-scale.
Wisdom positions the LS3i and LS3m around a 60-inch planar line source and very high sensitivity. The in-wall LS3i is particularly relevant behind acoustically transparent screens, while LS3m provides an on-wall alternative.
The defining design question is not simply output. A tall line source changes level consistency with distance and reduces vertical energy into the floor and ceiling, which can be valuable across multiple seating rows.
