Wisdom is valuable because line-source behaviour gives the designer another tool for controlling floor/ceiling interaction and level consistency across rows.
We would select the model only after establishing screen construction, seating distance, target SPL, coverage, amplifier architecture and the low-frequency strategy.
ARCHITECTURE
What makes the system different.
Line-source geometry
Tall line sources reduce vertical radiation into the floor and ceiling and lose level more slowly with distance than a conventional point source.
Architectural integration
In-wall line sources, point-source models and iCI6 height channels allow the architecture to disappear while retaining a coherent technology story.
